Who we are
What do you get when two dudes, who absolutely love the outdoors and camera gear, become friends? Well… nothing too wild but that’s what we’re chasing! Whether it’s bow season in Ohio, searching rivers for Steelhead, or hiking the many trails of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, we always seem to have a camera in hand searching for that next great shot.
So why not turn that simple hobby into something we can offer others? That’s exactly the reason for creating The Chasing Wild! We have set out to capture not only the wild, but to help you capture all your special moments in a form that can be shared with those around you. To help preserve memories into pieces that can be admired and cherished for generations.
Welcome to The Chasing Wild!

As a young adult, I started up a social media page where I documented my outdoor activities. All with nothing more than an iPhone camera. As the years went on, I started to really enjoy still photography. Capturing crusty pictures of wildlife, landscapes, and whatever else sparked my interest.
I eventually found myself purchasing a real camera so that I could truly explore more into photo composition, with hopes to building up the confidence in sharing my craft with the world. Getting my hands on that camera changed everything. I couldn’t put it down, taking it everywhere and shooting anything and everything.
In a world that seems so fast paced, photography has truly taught me to slow down, be patient, and to live in the moment. Things that typically go unnoticed, begin to stand out. Allowing for an avenue of creativity that I never knew existed. It’s given me a way to share with the world and the people around me, my true appreciation and enjoyment of all the special moments that happen every day. A lot of which I feel, people take for granted.
Whether the subsect of my work is a person, a tree, bird, or landscape, my ultimate goal is to portray that subject in a way that glorifies and amplifies its existence.

I grew up surrounded by family, adventure, and a strong appreciation for the outdoors. As the middle sibling of 4, I learned early on the importance of connection, observation, and being present— traits that naturally found their way into my creative work.
Photography and video have always been about capturing real moments for me. I’m particularly drawn to candid, unposed imagery that tells an honest story. Much of my work is inspired by natural light, open spaces and the genuine emotions that happen when people are simply being themselves.
Travel plays a huge role in my life and creative vision. I spend as much time in the outdoors camping with friends and family, fishing, hunting, hiking and taking yearly solo trips to National Parks across the United States. My lifelong goal is to experience every National Park with camera in hand, documenting the journey along the way.
At the heart of everything I create is a love for storytelling, adventure, and preserving moments that feel real, meaningful and timeless.
